(\"Berkwood\") is pleased to provide\nan update on its 100% owned Cimandiri Gold Project in West Java,\nIndonesia, with new developments on the previously reported soil\nsampling program.\n\n\n\nSoil sampling continues on the Cimandiri Property, utilising two\nsampling teams. Recent ridge and spur soil sampling in the Lubang\nProspect area has returned anomalous gold in soil values and has\nexpanded the previously reported Lubang Prospect area. This is in\naddition to grab sampling in the area that returned a result of 5.4g/t\n(see news release dated January 31st 2012).\n\n\n\nThe Indonesian exploration team, headed by senior geologist Andri\nSubandrio, has devised and is now commencing the next phase of the\nsoil-sampling program, which will focus specifically in the Lubang\nProspect area. A grid system has been developed, which consists of 7\nsoil lines at 50m spacing and 10 soils per line, at 25m spacing for a\ntotal coverage area of 6.75 Ha. The area of concentration is located\nin the central region of the Lubang Prospect, centered between the\nCipetir Prospect and Cisaru Prospect (see map on website). The current\nphase of soil grid sampling is expected to be completed in the next 30\ndays and results will be released when received by the company.\n\n\n\nJohannes Erasmus, associate geologist of Micromine Pty Ltd, a\nQualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101, reviewed\nand approved the content of this News Release.\n\n\n\nAbout Berkwood Resources\n\n\n\nBerkwood now holds a 100% interest in the Prospect Valley Gold\nProperty near Merritt, BC. To date, several areas of gold\nmineralization have been identified on the 107 km? property. The\nmajority of historic drilling has taken place in the centre of the\nclaim block along a prominent north-northeast trending linear zone. \nThis drilling outlined NI43-101 compliant Mineral Resources totaling\n166,000 ounces grading 0.511 g/t gold, 10,077,000 metric tonnes above\na cut-off of 0.30g/t gold (see news release dated January 25th 2012) \nat the combined Discovery South and Discovery North Zones.
