[{"type":"text","content":"Berkwood Commences Ground Geophysics on Discovery Trend at the Prospect Valley Gold Property(via Thenewswire.ca)\n \n \nVancouver, BC / TNW-ACCESSWIRE / July 23 2014 / Berkwood Resources (TSX-V:BKR) is pleased to announce that a ground geophysics survey has commenced on its Prospect Valley Gold Property, near Merritt, British Columbia, Canada.\n\n \n \nThe Ground Magnetics survey grid will consist of 20 lines at lengths varying from 700 m to 1100 m per line and a 50 m spacing with readings taken at 12.5 m intervals, located south of the previous geophysical grid. The results of this ground geophysics program will be compiled with results from previous geochemistry programs and together will be used to define drill targets in preparation for drilling planned for later this year. The drilling is planned to test for potentially higher grade gold mineralization on the southern extension of the Discovery Trend epithermal system.\n\n \n \n\nClick Image To View Full Size\n\n \n \nTo date, several areas of gold mineralization have been identified on the 10,871 Ha Prospect Valley Gold Property. The majority of historic drilling has taken place in the centre of the claim block, along the Discovery Trend. This drilling has outlined an extensive low grade epithermal gold system with indications of potential for additional and higher grade mineralization. The system remains open for expansion and other known zones of gold mineralization have yet to be drilled (see Berkwood news release dated January 25, 2012 for details).
