("Farallon" or the "Company") (TSX:FAN) is pleased to announce\nthat Farallon has shipped 4,398.94 wet metric tonnes of zinc concentrate to\nthe Teck Metals Ltd. smelter in Trail, B.C. This is the first shipment of zinc\nconcentrate from the G-9 Mine in Mexico to a smelter in North America.\n\n\nThis shipment of concentrate was loaded at the Port of Manzanillo, Mexico\non June 15, 2009 and sailed for Vancouver, B.C. on June 17, 2009. The vessel\n"Global Pioneer" arrived at Vancouver Wharves on June 27, 2009 at which time\nunloading of the vessel commenced through Vancouver Wharves. Coupled with\nour earlier shipments to Asian smelters, this delivery of concentrates opens\nup another customer for our products, which are being well-received in\ninternational markets. Both our off-taker, Trafigura Beheer BV Amsterdam, and\nour Manager, Marketing for mineral concentrates, Mr. Tomas Alba, have been\ndoing an excellent job of placing Farallon's products in various smelters\nglobally. We look forward to continued success as we continue to deliver\nconcentrates into the future."\n\n\nFarallon's G-9 zinc, copper, silver, gold and lead mine at the Campo\nMorado Property in Mexico reached commercial production in April 2009.
