(TSXV: FYL) (the \"Company\") reports an agreement to retain Pointer IR (Justin\n Schroenn) of Vancouver, BC, to provide investor relations services.\n Pointer IR will assist the Company in expanding its profile and\n conveying the Company's key messages to the investment community. \n Secondly, Rick Dauphinee has been appointed as a new independent\n director to the Company. Lastly, Geotech Ltd. has completed and\n reported upon an airborne ZTEM and magnetic geophysical survey\n completed over the Silver Hope Property.\n\n\nUnder the terms of the agreement, the Company has retained Pointer IR\n for a twelve-month period effective March 1, 2012 and expiring February\n 28, 2013, subject to a 30-day termination notice. Pointer IR will be\n paid up to $2,500 per month plus approved expenses for selected\n services. Justin Schroenn, principal of Pointer IR and Finlay Minerals\n Ltd. are at arm's length. The agreement is subject to TSX-V Exchange\n approval.\n\n\nRick T. Dauphinee, B.Sc, CA has been appointed as an independent\n director of Finlay Minerals.  Rick is a recently retired (December 31,\n 2011) Chartered Accountant after 32 years of public practice, 28 years\n as partner recently of Rick Dauphinee Ltd., Chartered Accountant and\n previously a long time and founding partner of Watson Dauphinee &\n Masuch, Chartered Accountants in Vancouver.  Finlay Mineral's Board of\n Directors and Management welcomes Rick to the Board along with his\n business and corporate guidance.\n\n\nGeotech Ltd. has completed and reported upon 467 km of airborne ZTEM and\n magnetic geophysical surveys over the Silver Hope Property.  The ZTEM\n survey was flown to look at deep resistivity features and potential\n association with buried porphyry (copper, molybdenum, gold and silver)\n systems.  The data is being further processed and integrated with the\n ground induced polarization geophysical survey data, and drill hole\n geology.\n\n\nUltimately, Finlay is interested in modeling the geological features of\n the Silver Hope Property to target further mineralized zones, be they\n deep or shallow silver-copper replacement or porphyry related.\n\n\nA summer exploration program is being planned to include detailed\n geological and structural mapping, with f...
