[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\nAtlas East Zone Yields Bonanza Grade Gold-Silver Mineralization\n\nVANCOUVER, Sept. 8 /CNW/ - The Board of Directors of Finlay Minerals Ltd.\n(\"The Company\") is pleased to announce that a helicopter supported drill rig\nhas been mobilized to the Pil North property situated in the Toodoggone camp\nof northern British Columbia.\nThis phase of the 2005 program is focused on drill testing the\nSilver Ridge and Atlas East Zones. The objective on Silver Ridge is to \nfollow-up on the 2004 discovery of structurally controlled high-grade silver\n(2.4 metres grading 1,235g/t silver). Drilling will attempt to determine the\nwidth and potential orientation of this zone.\nThe Atlas East Zone continues to emerge as an exciting new epithermal\ngold-silver discovery. Rock and soil sampling indicates gold and silver\nmineralization spanning an area more than 500 metres east-west by 200 metres\nnorth-south. Recent bedrock sampling within the anomalous area returned a\n0.3 meter wide chip sample grading 34.8g/t gold and 482g/t silver clearly\nindicating the bonanza-grade potential of the Atlas East Zone. Drilling of\nthis latest discovery will be one of several high priority targets.
