[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n \n15 May 2025\nFiltronic plc\n(\"Filtronic\", or the \"Company\")\n \nNew Airbus Constellation Satellites Contract Award\n \nSupporting Eutelsat OneWeb's mission of delivering global broadband connectivity\n \nFiltronic plc (AIM: FTC), the designer and manufacturer of products for the aerospace, defence, space and telecoms infrastructure markets, is pleased to announce a new contract win to develop and supply advanced filter and diplexer assemblies to Airbus Defence and Space, for the supply of additional satellites to Eutelsat OneWeb.\n \nThe contract, which will see Filtronic deliver flight sets for payload integration in calendar year 2026, will support the expansion of the Eutelsat OneWeb Low Earth Orbit (\"LEO\") satellite constellation. This initial contract is of a significant value with potential order flow expected for the remainder of the constellation rollout.\n \nThe assemblies will be produced in-house at Filtronic's advanced facility in Sedgefield where the team will also oversee the qualification process to ensure compliance with space environment specifications.\n \nFurther supporting the Airbus-OneWeb collaboration\nSatellites built by Airbus will contribute to Eutelsat OneWeb's mission of delivering global broadband connectivity. Eutelsat OneWeb, formed in 2023 through the merger of Eutelsat Communications and OneWeb, is the world's first fully integrated satellite operator combining geostationary orbit and LEO satellite technologies.\n \nThis next phase of 100 satellite production builds on the successful Airbus-OneWeb collaboration, which has more than 600 satellites in orbit.\n \nNat Edington, Chief Executive Officer, commented: \"This contract win aligns with our strategy to expand capabilities in the space sector and places more of our technology on to operational satellite payload systems.
