[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 1059M Immedia Group PLC 11 August 2011 \n\nImmedia Group Plc\n \n \n \n(\"Immedia\" or \"the Company\")\n \n \nContract Extension\n \nImmedia Group plc (AIM: IME), which provides bespoke radio stations and in-store media solutions for retailers, today announces a five year deal to extend its existing contract to supply 'SPAR Live' radio to the Convenience store retailer (the \"Contract\") until 30 April 2016.\n \nImmedia which currently supplies 1,168 stores with the service has a target to recruit an additional 1,200 stores to the network over the next 5 years.\n \nRevenues resulting from the Contract in the event that all 1,200 stores are added, could deliver up to £2.3m.\n \nImmedia, launched by former BBC Radio One presenter Bruno Brookes in 2000, develops in-store media solutions for retail brands. Bespoke music strategies linked with voice and video on brand help retailers to connect with customers and staff.\n \nBruno Brookes said: \"We launched 'SPAR Live' nearly 10 years ago which has become one of the most established in-store radio stations in the UK. The station supports SPAR in its own brand promotions together with other key promotional messages driving incremental revenue and general customer service messages.\"\n \nBarry Wallis, Retail Development Controller for SPAR UK said: \"SPAR Live radio is a great way for us to increase our consumer communication whilst enhancing the in-store environment.
