Mindready signs Follow-on Contract of approximately US $1.35 million with a leader company in the design, production and support of communications and aviation electronics solutions

MONTREAL, Oct. 14 /CNW Telbec/ - Mindready Solutions Inc. (TSX: MNY), a
leading supplier of solutions for new product introduction support through
embedded, test and automation engineering innovations, has been awarded a
follow-on contract from a leader company in the design, production and support
of communications and aviation electronics solutions for commercial and
government to supply critical components for the all-digital cabin management
system for the business aviation market.
Mindready will manufacture, test and in some cases program a large volume
of high-performance printed circuit boards featuring MPEG-2 real-time
compression/decompression coding built into the flexible and high bandwidth
topology of the IEEE-1394/FireWire(R) communications standard. The resulting
system enables a full suite of cabin applications such as high-quality movies
and digital-quality music through headphones, speakers or public address
systems, while offering significant weight and footprint reductions compared
to currently available analog and digital systems.
The core sub-system designed by Mindready allows future upgrades such as
on-demand video or audio and Internet access to be implemented without changes
to its architecture. Mindready completed the delivery of a large volume of
similar boards in 2004 and the first three quarters of 2005 and will book
revenues from this follow-on contract of approximately US $1.35 million during
the fourth quarter of 2005 and the first three quarters of 2006.
