[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 3650A Carr's Group PLC 28 May 2019  \n\n \n \nCARR'S GROUP PLC (\"Carr's\" or the \"Group\")\nChange in Director Responsibilities\nAlistair Wannop is appointed Board representative for engagement with the Group's 1,100 strong workforce\nCarr's (CARR.L), the Agriculture and Engineering Group, announces that, in line with the UK Corporate Governance Code, Alistair Wannop, Non-Executive Director (NED), has been appointed Board Representative for Employee Engagement. He will continue to be a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nominations committees.\nPrior to joining Carr's Group as a NED, Alistair chaired both the County NFU and the Northern regional advisory panel for the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.  Alistair also served on the Board of English Food and Farming Partnerships. The Board believes that Alistair's extensive experience and knowledge of the Group ideally places him in a position to ensure that the views of the wider workforce are fully understood by the Board, and that such views are considered as part of the Board's decision-making process.\nChris Holmes, Chairman of Carr's Group, commented: \"One of the key pillars of the Group's overall strategic vision is to invest in our people.
