[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n \n \n RNS Number : 9286Z\n Carr's Group PLC\n 24 September 2020\n \n \n \n 24 September 2020\n CARR'S GROUP PLC\n (\"Carr's\" or the \"Group\")\n APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER\n Carr's (CARR.L), the Agriculture and Engineering Group, is pleased to announce that Hugh Pelham has been appointed to succeed Tim Davies as Chief Executive Officer following a search process led by the Nomination Committee.\n Hugh will join Carr's as Chief Executive Officer Designate and as a member of the Board on 4 January 2021 and will formally succeed Tim at the conclusion of the Group's next Annual General Meeting, currently expected to take place on 12 January 2021. Tim will step down from the Board at the AGM but remain with the Group during a short handover period to ensure a smooth transition.\n Hugh brings over 30 years' experience in leading growing businesses across various sectors. He is currently Global President at Minova, part of ASX-listed Orica, which is a manufacturer and supplier of chemical and mechanical earth control products, adhesives and support equipment. Minova has revenues of A$600m, generated from 40 countries globally. \n Prior to this, Hugh spent four years as Managing Director of Wood Group Industrial Services Limited, a provider of specialist coatings, access and fabric maintenance services to the oil & gas, marine and rail industries. He also served as President (EMEA) of Wood Group Industrial Services, being responsible for international growth and leading a team of over 2,000 people.\n Hugh has a strong track record of generating value through the achievement of both long-term profitable growth and successful business turnarounds.
