[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 6834I Ferrexpo PLC 12 August 2019 \n\n \n12 August 2019 \nFERREXPO plc\n(\"Ferrexpo\" or the \"Group\")\n \nBoard Appointment\n \nFerrexpo is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Fiona MacAulay as an Independent Director and as Chair of the Remuneration Committee with effect from 12 August 2019. \n \nMs. MacAulay is a Chartered geologist with over 30 years' experience in the upstream oil and gas sector including key roles in a number of leading oil and gas firms across the large, mid and small cap space including Mobil, British Gas, Amerada Hess and Rockhopper.\nMs MacAulay is Chair of Independent Oil & Gas Plc where she also chairs the Technical, Health, Safety and Environment and Remuneration committees having originally been appointed to the board in July 2018 and appointed as Chair in January 2019. In December 2018, Ms MacAulay was appointed to the Exploration Advisory Board of Cairn India, the largest private sector producer of crude oil in India. Since 2017, Ms. MacAulay has been on the Board of Coro Energy Plc, where she is a member of the Remuneration committee and chairs the Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainable committee.\n \nMs. MacAulay was CEO of Echo Energy PLC from 2017 to 2018 and a Non-Executive Director from 2018 to 2019. She was Chief Operating Officer of Rockhopper Exploration PLC from 2013 to 2017. There is no other information concerning Fiona MacAulay which is required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13 R of the Listing Rules.\n \nSteve Lucas, Chairman of Ferrexpo, said:\n\"We are delighted to welcome Fiona MacAulay to our Board.
