Dividend Notification Declaration

Ford Motor Co 17 April 2000 The Board of Directors of Ford Motor Company at a meeting held today declared dividends of 50 cents per share on the Company's outstanding Class B Stock and Common Stock and $0.515625 a share on the depositary shares representing its Series B Cumulative Preferred Stock ('Series B Preferred'), payable June 1, 2000 to stockholders of record on May 2, 2000. The amounts of the dividends on the Class B and Common Stock and on the Series B Preferred are the same as the amounts of the dividends paid thereon in the first quarter of 2000.
