[{"type":"text","content":"Falken Industries Ltd OTC : FLKI announced that in response to a blue-ribbon Congressional panel which recently concluded that it is likely that terrorists will use a weapon of mass destruction somewhere in the world by 2013 it has developed a product concept aimed at a present and future imperative needs of the military and civil defense units.Developed for the Clean Plus® Product Group who will distribute the products globally, FLKI Strategic Research presented a recent development for a new wipe for hands, body cleansing and decontamination perfected for use by military field troops operating in difficult terrain. The wipe is anti-bacterial, lipo-protective and hypoallergenic.Researchers opined that it may be ideal as against Chemical Warfare Agents, Toxic Chemicals etc. The surface wipes have proven themselves effective for cleaning up chemical warfare agents and toxic chemicals. This is particularly important if Congressional concerns bear out. This product development adapts to military compatibility the Clean Plus® hand care and surface disinfection product lines and is newly-developed by researchers at FLKI in coordination with those of the Clean Plus® Product Group's Research and Development facilities in Europe. Clean Plus® wipes must and do meet the stringent requirements of EU and most international standards.The Product Group's hand and surface wipes are adapted to desert operations, resist drying better than 30 competing products against which they were extensively tested, and will not freeze in sub-zero environments ideal for military and applications. \"The hand wipe is a bath in a bucket for our troops, notably important where water is a precious commodity\" said Manuel Garcia, Communications Officer.FLKI product concepts are the holders of the European Product Innovation Award and numerous industry awards.Researchers found that the new surface wipe out-performed 22 different decontamination materials, including materials currently used in military decontamination kits.In developing this product, FLKI believed it is meeting the specific needs of today's military as, for example, expressed in a 2004 report to Congress published by the U.S. Department of Defense.
