TORONTO, April 09, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Fairfax India Holdings Corporation (“Fairfax India” or the “Company”) (TSX: FIH.U) announces that its wholly-owned subsidiary, FIH Mauritius Investments Ltd has sold 1,742,987 equity shares, representing its entire equity interest, in Sanmar Chemical Enterprises Limited (“SCEL”) to an affiliate of SCEL for INR 2,480 million (approximately US$27 million at current exchange rates). Following the sale, Fairfax India has no economic interest in SCEL.
