Boxxer Provides Sampling Results from Boss No.9 Zone; Drilling Expected to Commence Shortly

[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nCALGARY, June 2 /CNW/ - Boxxer Gold Corp (TSXV - "BXX") is pleased to\nannounce additional channel sampling results from its 100% owned Boss\ncopper-gold project located in the Goodsprings Mining District, Nevada. The\napproval from the Bureau of Land Management to commence diamond drilling on\nthe Boss Extension is expected shortly. The sampling of the Boss copper-gold\ndeposit and the Boss No.9 zone outlined the following results:\n\n\n- 0.49 g/t gold and 4.27g/t PGE over 3.90 metres,\n- 0.10% copper, 0.7g/t silver over 5.20 metres.\n\n\nMr. Elmer Stewart, President and CEO of Boxxer stated, "The low\nconcentrations of copper and high concentrations of gold and PGE at the end of\nBoss deposit is consistent with previous analytical results and shows that the\nmineralization extends to the northeast and southeast past the workings. The\nresults from the Boss No.9 zone are encouraging, despite relatively low\nconcentrations of copper-gold-silver, this zone shows a strong\nbismuth-arsenic-cobalt-nickel-lead-zinc geochemical signature indicative of a\ncopper-gold skarn mineralized system."\n\n\nBoss Deposit (formerly referred to as the Boss Mine):\n\n\nThese samples were taken to define the limits of the mineralization on\nthe third level of the former Boss copper mine. Sample BM-56-09 is located at\nthe end of a cross-cut and the mineralized interval extends beyond the end of\nthe cross-cut to the southeast. The wall rock contains minor amounts of\nhematite and limonite and traces of oxide copper mineralization. The copper\nmineralization in this zone has a strong\nbismuth-arsenic-cobalt-nickel-lead-zinc geochemical signature.
