[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\nCALGARY, Oct. 30, 2013 /CNW/ - Boxxer Gold Corp. (BXX-TSXV/OTC\n Other-BXXRF)) (\"Boxxer or the Company\") is pleased to announce that it has filed a National Instrument 43-101\n Technical Report on its 100% owned Boss copper-gold porphyry project\n located in the Goodsprings Mining District, S.W, Nevada.  The Technical\n Report is titled \"Geological Assessment and Exploration Proposal\n (2013/2014) for the Boss Project, Goodsprings Mining District\" dated\n September 30, 2013 was prepared by Mr. P Van Angren, P.Geol. The report\n has been filed on SEDAR and will be available for viewing under the\n company's profile at www.sedar.com\n\n\nBoxxer's President and CEO, Elmer B. Stewart, explained; \"We are very\n pleased with the conclusions of the recently completed independent\n Technical Report on the Boss copper-gold porphyry project.  The\n Technical Report has identified a 8km by 6km area the majority of which\n occurs within the Boss project that hosts all the copper\n mineralization, skarn, alteration and intrusive activity which supports\n the porphyry copper-gold exploration model. The other portions of the\n Goodsprings Mining District that host the majority of the lead-zinc\n mineralization occurs outside this area, a metal zonation typical of a\n porphyry model.  The recommended two phase approach consisting of\n surface exploration followed by diamond drilling is a solid methodical\n approach to the exploration of this project for copper-gold porphyry\n style mineralization\".\n\n\nThe Goodsprings Mining District contains about 90 small historical\n mines. Metal production from the district is reported to be\n approximately 160,000 tonnes of base metals (Zn>Pb>>Cu), 2.1 million\n ounces silver, 90,000 ounces gold, and small amounts of Platinum Group\n Elements (PGE). Cobalt, vanadium, mercury, stibnite, nickel,\n molybdenum, manganese, and iridium were also recovered. The majority of\n the production from the district occurred between 1886 and 1937.\n\n\nExcerpts from Technical Report:\n\"The geological, structural, geophysical and geochemical features of the\n Boss property suggest that it has excellent potential to host copper porphyry\n mineralization given the encouraging results from Boxxer's 2002-2012\n exploration campaigns\"\n\n\n\"The following features are strongly suggestive t...
