(TSX-V:BXX) ("Boxxer" or the\n"Corporation") today announced it has closed a third tranche of the\nnon-brokered private placement of the $510,000 financing previously announced\non February 17, 2009. Boxxer issued 3,440,000 Units at $0.03 per Unit for\ngross proceeds of $103,200. Combined with the first two tranches, the total\ngross proceeds raised to date from all three tranches of the Private Placement\nis $276,450 (9,215,000 Units). Each Unit consists of one common share in the\nshare capital of Boxxer ("Common Share") and one-half of a Common Share\npurchase warrant ("Warrant"). Each whole Warrant shall be exercisable for 18\nmonths from the date of issuance into one Common Share at a price of $0.10 per\nCommon Share. Proceeds of the private placement will be used for the drilling\nprogram on the Boss Property in Nevada and working capital. A finder's fee\ntotaling $5,040, and finder's warrants totalling 210,000 was paid to Union\nSecurities Ltd. and Northern Securities Inc. for their participation in this\nprivate placement. Each finder's warrant is exercisable for 18 months from the\ndate of issuance at $0.10 into one Common Share and one-half of a Warrant.\nThese securities were issued with a four month hold period expiring on July\n31, 2009 and August 2, 2009.
