(TSX-V:BXX) ("Boxxer" or the\n"Corporation") today announced it has closed a fourth tranche of the\nnon-brokered private placement of the $510,000 financing previously announced\non February 17, 2009. Boxxer issued 5,000,000 Units at $0.03 per Unit for\ngross proceeds of $150,000. Combined with the first three tranches, the total\ngross proceeds raised to date from all four tranches of the Private Placement\nis $426,450 (14,215,000 Units). Boxxer anticipates that one final closing will\ntake place in the near future.\n\n\nEach Unit consists of one common share in the share capital of Boxxer\n("Common Share") and one-half of a Common Share purchase warrant ("Warrant").\nEach whole Warrant shall be exercisable for 18 months from the date of\nissuance into one Common Share at a price of $0.10 per Common Share. Proceeds\nof the private placement will be used for the drilling program on the Boss\nProperty in Nevada and working capital.\n\n\nA finder's fee totaling $12,000, and finder's warrants totalling 500,000\nwas paid to Union Securities Ltd. and Raymond James Ltd. for their\nparticipation in this private placement.
