[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nCALGARY, Oct. 20 /CNW/ - Boxxer Gold Corp (TSXV - "BXX") is pleased to\nannounce that it has located five new zones of copper mineralization on its\n100% owned Boss project located in southern Nevada. The five zones occur\nwithin the area referred to as the Boss Extension where continuous channel\nsampling has returned 2.11% copper, 0.22 g/t gold, and 26.93 g/t silver over a\ncontinuous interval of 13.90 metres. The analytical results for the channel\nsampling of two (referred to as Boss No. 4 and Boss No.5) of the six zones (To\nview Figure-1 please see http://files.newswire.ca/758/Boxxer_Boss_project.doc)\nare listed below.\n\n\nMr. Elmer Stewart, President and CEO of Boxxer stated, "The discovery of\nthe Boss No. 4 and Boss No. 5 zones have doubled the potential size of the\nBoss Extension zone to approximately 600 m long by 500 m wide and at least\n175 m vertically. These new results have a different geochemical signature\nthan the results from the other mineralized areas within the Boss Extension\nand suggest that at least two or three distinct phases of mineralization have\noccurred on the property".\n\n\nSummary of Results:\n\n\nTwo of the five new zones of copper oxide mineralization occur in that\narea of the Boss Extension that has been described in a previous news release\n(see news release dated May 15, 2008). The other three zones occur within an\narea that measures 200 m long by 150 m wide located approximately 150 metres\nsouth of the Boss No. 3 zone. The mineralization in the Boss No. 5 zone\ncontains a significant content of both lead and zinc, whereas the\nmineralization exposed in Boss No. 4 contains very minor concentrations of\nlead and zinc.\n\n\nBoss No. 5:\n\n\nThis adit extends into bedrock for a distance of 13.90 metres and\nreturned an average of 2.11% copper, 0.22 g/t gold and 26.93 g/t silver from\nthe portal to the back end of the underground workings. The copper\nmineralization extends past the end of the underground workings into the\nbedrock. Over this interval, disseminated and veinlets of copper oxide\n(malachite) mineralization occur in brecciated and sheared coarse grained\ndolomite. Analytical results for the individual channel samples are set out\nbelow.\n\n\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\nSample No. Interval Copper Gol...
