[{"type":"text","content":"\n 888 Holdings plc\n02 February 2006\n\n\n 888 Holdings Public Limited Company\n\n ('888' or the 'Company')\n\n Trading Update and Q4 KPIs\n\n888, one of the world's most popular online gaming companies, today provides the\nfollowing trading update for the fourth quarter of 2005 and cumulative results\nfor the year ended 31 December 2005.\n\nKey financials for the three months ended 31 December 2005:\n\n •Net Gaming Revenue rose to US$77 million, an increase of 56% above Q4\n 2004.\n\n\n •Net Gaming Revenue from casino increased to US$41 million, an increase of\n 19% above Q4 2004.\n\n\n •Net Gaming Revenue from poker rose to US$36 million, an increase of 138%\n above Q4 2004.\n\nKey KPIs:\n\n •Number of active* members increased to 330,962, a 75% increase above Q4\n 2004.\n\n\n •Casino active members increased to 97,661, a 48% increase above Q4 2004.\n\n\n •Poker active members increased to 233,301, an 89% increase above Q4 2004.\n\n\n •Monthly poker rake (rake from ring games plus net tournament fees) in\n December 2005 was 108% higher than December 2004.\n\n\n •In Q4 2005, quarterly net gaming revenue per active casino member at $419\n compared to $458 in Q3 2005 (a slight decline as a result of promotion\n efforts aimed at reviving dormant members). In poker we continue to\n experience strong performance with quarterly net gaming revenue per active\n member up 21% from $129 in Q3 2005 to $156 in Q4 2005.\n\n\n •As at 31 December 2005, 888 had 23.2 million registered member accounts\n out of which 5.5 million are real money registered member accounts,\n representing an increase in real money member accounts of 49% since 31\n December 2004.\n\nKey cumulative financials for the 12 months ended 31 December 2005:\n\n •Net Gaming Revenue during year rose to US$271 million, an increase of 52%\n above 2004.\n\n\n •Net Gaming Revenue from casino during the year rose to US$161 million, an\n increase of 16% above 2004.\n\n\n •Net Gaming Revenue from poker during the year rose to US$110 million, an\n increase of 179% above 2004.\n\nOverall trading for the year has been in line with Board expectations. \n\nTrading Outlook\n\nOur new financial year has started well and trading in January 2006 has been\nstrong in both the casino and poker businesses with a continued increase in new\nreal money member sign-ups, firs...
