[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nWest Firsby Production Project\n\nThe Directors of Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) plc are pleased to announce the\nengagement of Hull-based OSL Consulting Ltd. to comprehensively review the\ncurrent facilities of the West Firsby Oilfield in Lincolnshire and design\nmodifications required to increase the pumping capacity at the site.\n\nRecent theoretical engineering studies have indicated that increasing the flow\nthrough a better optimised jet pump system at West Firsby could increase the\noil production by over 40%. An upgrade of the facilities will be required to\nmaximize and sustain this production increase and ensure production\nreliability. During a trial test, which was constrained by the current\nfacilities configuration, production increased from 123 to 145bopd.\n\nOSL Consulting are a highly skilled team of engineers experienced in modeling\nand redesign of oil & gas infrastructure and are well qualified to deliver a\nsolution capable of a sustainable production increase at the site.\n\nThis is one of a programme of several production optimisation projects\ncurrently being undertaken by Europa on its producing portfolio.\n\nManaging Director, Paul Barrett, said \"This will lead to sustainable increase\nin production levels without the need for subsurface intervention.
