[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nEuropa Oil & Gas (Holdings) plc\n\n23 Dec 2010\n\nWest Firsby Operational Update\n\nThe Directors of Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) plc are pleased to provide an\nupdate on the West Firsby-9 drilling operations.\n\nThe tophole section is now completed and cased to a depth of 206 feet. The\nGeometric HH102a rig has moved onto site, with a view to rigging up by close of\nbusiness on Xmas Eve. Drilling operations on the main hole section will\ncommence after the Xmas weekend.\n\nPaul Barrett, Managing Director of Europa, said \"Construction of the well\ncellar and the drilling of the tophole section have taken place in challenging\nweather conditions and all involved have risen to the challenge admirably. We\nnow look forward to the main drilling phase and will report in the New Year on\nprogress.
