[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nHykeham Flow Test\n\nThe Directors of Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) plc are pleased to provide an\nupdate on operations at the Hykeham-1 well.\n\nA 3.7m interval of Basal Sandstone was perforated and the well shut-in at\nsurface. Wellhead pressure built to 220psig and the well has been opened up\nbriefly to clean up the perforations. The well produced gas which indicates\nthat the oil at reservoir conditions is close to bubble point and that the gas\nis liberated at the pressure drop across the formation. The well has now been\nshut-in for build-up prior to opening up for further flow.\n\nExperience with Whisby-4 has shown that sustained oil production will be\nachieved with the initial use of nitrogen lift, which is currently being\nprocured. In the meantime, installation of storage tanks and other site\nfacilities for the extended well test will be completed.\n\nFurther updates will be announced in due course.\n\nFor further information, please contact:\n\nPaul Barrett Europa Oil & Gas +44 1235 553 266\nJonathan Wright Seymour Pierce +44 20 7107 8050\n\nThe technical opinions expressed in this announcement have been reviewed and\napproved by Dr. Erika Syba, Operations Director, AAPG member with over 25 years\noil and gas experience.\n ","length":1253,"tagName":"div"}]
