[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nHolmwood Planning Update\n\nEuropa is pleased to provide an update on the planning application for the\nHolmwood exploration well in the Weald Basin, southern England.\n\nSurrey County Council have requested that the applicant provides an updated\necological survey over the drilling site location. These surveys will be\ncarried out during summer and the application is due to be heard by the\nplanning committee towards the end of the year.\n\nThe Holmwood exploration well will test a prospect which contains prospective\nresources net to Europa of up to 13 million barrels.\n\nInterests in the group are Europa Oil & Gas Ltd (Operator) (40%), Egdon\nResources (38.4%), Warwick Energy (20%) and Altwood Petroleum (1.6%).\n\nPaul Barrett said that, \"The previous surveys over the site are now over two\nyears old now and it is understandable that Surrey County Council have\nrequested the surveys be updated. We anticipate the results of the surveys will\nnot be materially different. In addition, as the well was not in our 2010\ndrilling plans, the delay does not have any impact on our exploration work\nschedule.\"\n ","length":1121,"tagName":"div"}]
