[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) plc / Index: AIM / Epic: EOG / Sector: Oil & Gas \n\n Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) plc (`Europa' or `the Company') \n\n Completion of Placing \n\nEuropa Oil & Gas (Holdings) plc, the AIM listed oil and gas exploration,\ndevelopment and production company focused on Europe, is pleased to announce\ncompletion of the placing to raise approximately £2.86 million (before\nexpenses), details of which were announced on 16 December 2013 (the `Placing').\nAccordingly, 47,694,665 ordinary shares of 1 p each (`Ordinary Shares') have\ntoday been admitted to trading on AIM.\n\nShareholders are reminded that the Open Offer to raise up to a further £1.16\nmillion (before expenses) remains open for acceptance until 11.00 a.m. on 17\nJanuary 2014.\n\nFollowing completion of the Placing, and prior to the completion of the Open\nOffer the Company's issued share capital consists of 185,550,169 Ordinary\nShares. No Ordinary Shares are held in treasury.\n\nThe above figure of 185,550,169 may be used by shareholders as the denominator\nfor the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to\nnotify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Europa under the\nFinancial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.\n\nEuropa's CEO Hugh Mackay said: \"We look forward to applying the proceeds of the\nPlacing towards progressing our balanced portfolio of assets. In particular,\nthis will allow us to drill the Kiln Lane prospect on PEDL-181 which is located\nin a working hydrocarbon system where a number of discoveries have been made in\nadjacent licences.
