Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) Plc Board Appointments The Directors of Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) plc, the AIM listed production and exploration company, are pleased to announce that it has appointed Philip Greenhalgh to its Board of Directors as Finance Director, effective immediately. Philip Greenhalgh, aged 46, a Chemical Engineering graduate of Imperial College, was formally CFO of Whatman plc, an FTSE company where he worked for four years. Prior to that, Phil worked as Admin Director and Finance Director at Pharmacia Limited. In addition, the Directors are pleased to announce the appointment, subject to contract, of Roderick Corrie, age 46, as a non-executive Director. After graduating from Cambridge, Roderick followed a career path in finance and business development, initially with Barclays, then with Liberty International Finance and latterly as a consultant financier. Ewen Ainsworth is resigning as Finance Director with immediate effect. Paul Barrett, Managing Director, said `This double appointment substantially strengthens the Company's operations. Phil brings a solid public company finance knowledge base to the company and we are confident that he will play a key role in the future development of the Company.
