[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nVANCOUVER, Feb. 28 /CNW/ - EurOmax Resources Limited (TSX-V: EOX) is\npleased to announce that drilling of the Company's second diamond drillhole,\nEOIC 0811, into the Ilovitza porphyry intersected a 514 metre quartz-sulphide\nstockwork, intense alteration with disseminated and vein chalcopyrite. The\nthird hole EOIC 0812 in the centre of the system is drilling ahead at\n90 metres.\n\n\nJohn Menzies, Chairman and CEO commented, "EurOmax is excited by these\ndrillholes as they extend the limits and confirm the geometry of this large\naltered and mineralised intrusion. Ilovitza, situated along the crest of a\nridge, is close to paved roads and only 20 kilometres from rail providing easy\naccess to a deep water port and a smelter."\n\n\nFull Press Release & Map:\n\n\nhttp://www.euromaxresources.com/news.php?newsid(equal sign)231&\n\n\nLatest Diamond Drill core Images:\n\n\nhttp://www.euromaxresources.com/index.php?id(equal sign)92\n\n\nAt Ilovitza, a copper-gold-molybdenum porphyry has been mapped over an\narea of more than one square kilometre where a variably porphyritic dacite is\nintruded by a medium grained, strongly altered granodiorite.\n\n\nThe Company's first diamond drillhole into the intrusion EOIC 0710 was\nsuspended at 481 metres. This hole intersected quartz-hematite-sulphide\nstockwork from 60 metres to the bottom of hole with a vein density ranging\nfrom 30 veins per metre to 150 veins per metre. The copper mineral chalcocite\ndominates from 107 to 216 metres with chalcopyrite and molybdenite to the\nbottom of hole. Strong magnetite stockwork is developed from 276 metres.\n\n\nDrillhole EOIC 0811 was completed to a depth of 519 metres and\nencountered strongly altered and stockworked dacite and granodiorite from\nsurface to the bottom of hole. Chalcopyrite dominates in this hole from\n50 metres to 514 metres.\n\n\nBoth drillholes were planned to a target depth of 600 metres but were\nsuspended, pending completion with a more powerful rig which is now on site.\n\n\nMapping and careful drillhole logging has now more clearly defined the\nextent of the intrusive complex. It now appears to be a near vertical body\napproximately 1.2 kilometres in diameter. Drillhole EOIC 0812 has been\ncollared in the geometric centre of the intrusion and will be drilled\nvertically in the area of strongest quart...
