[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nVANCOUVER, Aug. 7 /CNW/ - EurOmax Resources Limited (TSX-V: EOX) is\npleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Greg Hall, former Chief Geologist\nof the Placer Dome Group, to its advisory board effective immediately.\n\n\nMr. Hall is a seasoned geologist with over 35 years of international\nexperience. From 1988-2005, he was employed by the Placer Dome group of\ncompanies, of which the last five years he served as Chief Geologist - World\nWide. Placer Dome was acquired by Barrick Gold Corporation in early 2006.\n\n\nOver the course of his illustrious career, Mr. Hall was directly involved\nin a senior capacity in the discoveries of both Barrick Gold's Granny Smith\nmine and Rio Tinto's Yandi iron ore mine. In addition, he took part in the\ndiscoveries of Keringal and Wallaby in Australia's Eastern Goldfields, as well\nas the definition of AngloGold Ashanti's Sunrise gold mine. Mr. Hall holds a\nBachelor of Applied Science from the University of New South Wales, Australia.\n\n\n"We are honored that Greg has agreed to join our team," commented John\nMenzies, Chairman and CEO. The Board of Directors has also granted Mr. Anthony Patriarco\n150,000 stock options exercisable at a price of $0.32 and with a term of five\nyears.
