VANCOUVER, May 29 /CNW/ - EurOmax Resources Ltd. ("EurOmax") is updating the current status of activities on Balkans Gold Limited (Balkans) mineral properties in Bulgaria from recent Balkans announcements. EurOmax is the largest shareholder of Balkans with approximately 19% of its outstanding shares.

OGOSTA: Balkans have completed 11 diamond drillholes at Ogosta targeting high grade quartz veins, assay results are awaited.

BREZNIK: Balkans have completed 25 diamond drillholes and 10 trenches at Breznik. Balkans have advised that the information gained from the current drilling program at Breznik, coupled with the results of previous drilling should allow an initial resource estimate to be made. The current drilling program is targeting the North and Central Veins. The mineralised system has now been traced with drilling over a strike of 800 metres.
