EURASIA MINING PLC 27 July 1999 Robert Jenkins to be Finance Director at Eurasia Mr Robert Jenkins, FCA, (45) has been appointed Finance Director and Company Secretary of Eurasia Mining PLC ('Eurasia'), in place of Mr Clive Line, who is leaving the Company on his appointment as Finance Director at Initiative Media London Limited. Robert Jenkins, who has been a non-executive Director of Eurasia since 1995, knows the company very well. He was formerly Senior Fund manager of Framlington Russian Investment Fund and represented that Group's significant 27% shareholding in Eurasia. Robert Jenkins trained as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. He has long experience of investment banking and equity investment, including six years of hands on experience in Russia since 1993. He was with Morgan Grenfell for eight years until 1987, and subsequently worked for Charterhouse Development Capital and Midland Montagu Ventures. He was then a corporate consultant in Russia, until he joined Framlington in 1994. He is an Oxford Graduate in History and Russian and speaks Russian, French and Spanish fluently. Clive Line, who has played a valuable role at Eurasia, since 1995 says 'I have enormously enjoyed working with Eurasia, but after four years I now have an opportunity of pursuing a career in a very large organisation'.
