[{"type":"text","content":"Erdene Resource Development drill results shows new potential for Mongolian molybdenum project\n \n \n (NewsDirect)\n \n \n \n \n Erdene Resource Development CEO Peter\nAkerley joins Natalie Stoberman from the Proactive studios to share\nthe latest drill results from its 100 percent owned Zuun Mod\nmolybdenum-copper porphyry project in southwestern Mongolia, located\nwithin the Khundii Minerals District, 35 kilometres east of the Bayan\nKhundii gold project.\n \n \n Akerley says\nthe project aimed to expand the existing molybdenum deposit and\nexplore peripheral opportunities within the large Porphyry complex.\nThe drill program successfully achieved its two main objectives, along\nwith discovering molybdenum mineralization around the perimeter of the\nexisting deposit, with some holes showing mineralization grades of up\nto 200 meters. Additionally, Akerley says a hole located 1.7\nkilometers north of the deposit also intersected high-grade\nmineralization which indicate the potential for the project to become\neven larger.\n \n \n Akerley explains the\nmarket for molybdenum is growing due to its use in lightweight,\nhigh-strength steel alloys and its suitability for super alloys and\nhigh-strength steels. The mineral is increasingly being used in green\nenergy applications such as solar and wind power equipment and\nhydrogen pipelines.
