Equitech Int'l Announces the Appointment of New Chief Executive Officer

Indian Trail, NC, July 2, 2024 – Equitech Int’l (OTC: EQTL), a leading innovator in inline, real-time color measurement, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ron Floyd as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Mr. Floyd, who has been serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors, brings extensive experience in strategic leadership and operational excellence. His appointment follows the departure of Jaime Gomez, to whom we extend our gratitude for his years of dedicated service.

Mr. Floyd will also maintain his role as Chairman, while Majid R. Babaie, P.E. has been appointed as President and Chief Operating Officer. Together, they will lead Equitech’s management team, focusing on driving growth and innovation.

Majid R. Babaie is a member of Equitech’s Board of Advisory and co-founder of M&M Technology, an electronic product design and manufacturing company. Under his leadership, M&M Technology grew into a multi-million-dollar corporation, serving clients such as Boeing, Thermo, Danaher, PokerTek, and MEDEVCO. Mr. Babaie brings his engineering expertise to Equitech. He holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.A. in Statistics from the University of Akron and is a Registered Engineer with the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers & Surveyors.
