Following 3 years as a seismic interpreter with the\nBritish Geological Survey, David spent 13 years with Amerada Hess where his\npositions included New Ventures, Exploration and Regional manager roles (S.E\nAsia and Middle East) and Staff Geologist roles (UK and Denmark). David has\nplayed a leading role in the discovery of a number of commercial oil fields in\nthe UK, Denmark and Malaysia. David has spent the last year and a half working\nas Vice President of Exploration and New Ventures for Sonoran Energy, a US\nlisted oil company. In this role he was responsible for securing Sonoran's its\nfirst international operated asset in Jordan.\n\nRhod Phillips - Senior Petroleum Engineer\nRhod Phillips has 11 years experience in both exploration and development roles\nwith Amerada Hess. Rhod has extensive experience in both offshore and onshore\nprojects around the world. He spent the first 5 years of his career in the North\nSea (UK and Denmark) designing and supervising well logging, testing and\ncompletions operations in exploration and development wells. On returning to\nLondon, Rhod worked as a Reservoir Engineer starting with the UK operations\nbefore moving on to international operations in Azerbaijan and Malaysia. His\nmost recent experience was as the lead Reservoir Engineer for the GEA\nrehabilitation and miscible flood project in Algeria.\n\nLucy Slater - Senior Geophysicist\nLucy Slater is an exploration geophysicist with 10 years experience in both\nexploration and development. Lucy started her oil industry career in exploration\nwith Amerada Hess working in the North Sea (UK and Norway). During this time she\nwas involved in several commercial hydrocarbon discoveries. Lucy moved to Shell\nin 2001 where she worked on integrated reservoir modelling specialist worldwide\nprojects, including the development of an integrated reservoir modelling\nsoftware package.
