[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 7676E Regal Petroleum PLC 01 October 2008 \n \nRegal Petroleum plc\n('Regal' or the 'Company')\n\n\n\nRomanian Well Spud\n\nRegal is pleased to announce the spudding of appraisal well RBN-S1 in the Barlad Concession in Romania, in which the Company holds a 100% working interest. The RBN-S1 well is being drilled to appraise the gas discovery made in the RBN-4 well announced on 13 December 2007. The well is being drilled into a Sarmatian formation gas target and is planned to reach a target depth of 850 metres.
