[{"type":"text","content":"\n Regal Petroleum PLC\n25 April 2006\n\n\nFor Immediate Release 25 April 2006\n\n\n\n REGAL PETROLEUM PLC\n (the 'Company')\n\n Purchase of Shares and Grant of Options\n\n\nThe Company was notified last evening that on 21 April 2006, Mr Paul J Morgan,\nthe Company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, purchased a total of 150,000\nordinary shares of 5 pence each in the capital of the Company ('Ordinary\nShares') at an average price of 86 pence each. Mr Morgan's shareholding in the\nCompany now stands at 250,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.19\nper cent of the Company's issued Ordinary Share capital.\n\n\nIn addition the Company's remuneration committee has granted options over\nOrdinary Shares pursuant to the Regal Petroleum Share Option Scheme to the\nfollowing Directors:\n\n\n\n Number of Exercise Date/condition from which\n Share Options Price exercisable\n------------ ---------- --------- --------------------\nMr Paul J Morgan 2,000,000 £0.875 (i) 500,000 upon the Company's\n------------ ---------- --------- Ordinary Shares trading above\n £1.50 for 10 consecutive\n trading days, (ii) 500,000\n upon the Company's Ordinary\n Shares trading above £2.50 for\n 10 consecutive trading days,\n (iii) 500,000 upon the\n Company's Ordinary Shares\n trading above £3.50 for 10\n consecutive trading days and\n (iv) 500,000 upon the\n Company's Ordinary Shares\n trading above £4.50 for 10\n consecutive trading days\n --------------------\n\nLord Anthony St 250,000 £0.875 24.11.06\nJohn of Bletso\n\n\n\nThe above options represent all share options held by Mr Morgan.
