[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 1890E Regal Petroleum PLC 04 April 2011 \n \n\n4 April 2011\nREGAL PETROLEUM PLC\n \n(\"Regal\" or the \"Company\")\n \nBOARD APPOINTMENTS\n \n \nThe Company is pleased to announce that, following the closing of the increased, recommended partial cash offer made by Energees Management Limited (\"Energees Management\") on 6 February 2011 and pursuant to the Relationship Agreement entered into between the Company, Energees Investments Limited (\"Energees Investments\") and JSC Smart Holding UA (\"JSC Smart\") announced on 3 March 2011, Energees Investments has nominated, and the Company has appointed Alexey Pertin and Denis Rudev as additional Directors of the Company with immediate effect. Their appointment to the Board of the Company is in addition to the appointment of Oleksii Tymofieiev which was announced on 28 March 2011. In accordance with the Relationship Agreement, Energees Investments and JSC Smart are entitled to nominate three appointees to the Board and have now done so.\n \nMr Pertin has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director and Mr Rudev has been appointed as an Executive Director. Mr Pertin is currently a director of Energees Investments and Energees Management and is the Chief Executive Officer of JSC Smart. Mr Rudev is currently a director of Energees Management and First Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Finance of JSC Smart.\n \nFollowing the appointments of Mr Pertin and Mr Rudev, the Board of Regal now comprises the following directors:-\n \n· Keith Henry (Chairman)\n· Denis Rudev (Executive Director)**\n· Harry Verkuil (Chief Operating Officer)\n· Robert Wilde (Finance Director)\n· Adrian Coates (Non-Executive Director)\n· Alastair Graham (Non-Executive Director)\n· Oleksii Tymofieiv (Non-Executive Director)**\n· Alexey Pertin (Non-Executive Director)**\n \n...
