(NVST.PK), a new entry into the GPS navigation/hands-free calling market, today announced more details about their distribution plans for the consumer market. \n\nVoice Navigator? is a highly integrated all-in-one, sleek and slim device with total voice input that combines hands-free calling and navigation. The combination of hands-free calling with GPS navigation capability, the Voice Navigator? allows the user to make calls or to request a route with voice commands rather than inputting a request by touching a screen and taking their eyes off the road. The cutting edge functionality will transform GPS navigation and hands-free calling into an affordable, safe and easy-to-use experience. \n\n\"The letter of intent we signed several weeks ago to sell our products in the pharmaceutical and drug industry has huge potential over time.\" said N. Douglas Pritt, NavStar Technologies president and CEO. \"We have begun to sharpen our focus and will target distribution of our initial product in 5,000 stores of one of the three largest drug store chains in the US. In addition to this drug store focus, we have had initial conversations with the largest home shopping network in the US. Our product is ideally suited for home shopping networks because of the price point and opportunity to really explain the product features and functionality.\" \nCustomers will use their Bluetooth handset to call the NavStar server and with their voice provide a limited amount of information as to their destination. A route will be downloaded to the NavStar device and turn by turn directions will be provided to the user's destination. Once the route is downloaded to the NavStar device the handset is available to make calls in a hands-free mode.\n\nThe product is expected to be available in the 3rd quarter 2008 and has a target price of below $150.
