Endurance to commence drilling on Pardo in June

VANCOUVER, May 12 /CNW Telbec/ - Endurance Gold Corporation (EDG - TSX.V) will commence a diamond drilling program on the Pardo Property during the first week of June. The Pardo Property is located 65 kilometres northeast of Sudbury, Ontario, and covers a large area of flat lying, Proterozoic age, pyritic quartz pebble dominant conglomerates, which rest unconformably on Archean age metasediments. Gold mineralization defined to date (3.5 grams per tonne Au across 13 metres in surface channel sampling, and 1.67 grams per tonne over 8.4 metres in vertical drill holes) is spatially associated with both pyrite mineralization and the unconformity. The property is comprised of 2,864 hectares, only a small portion of which has been drill tested to date.

The drilling program will comprise a 50 to 70 hole program, totaling approximately 1500 metres, and will test strong, newly generated Induced Polarization ("IP") chargeability anomalies over an area measuring two kilometres by two kilometres. An additional four to five holes will test the prospective geological horizon at depths of up to 150 metres, at locations in the southern portion of the property. This year's program is designed to definitively demonstrate the size potential of the prospective basal conglomerate. The drilling program is expected to be completed by the end of June, with analytical results available by early August. Results will be reported at that time.
