[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\n\nVANCOUVER, Oct. 15, 2013 /CNW/ - Endeavour Mining Corporation (\"Endeavour\" or the \"Corporation\")\n (TSX:EDV, ASX:EVR, OTCQX:EDVMF) announces that mining has begun at its\n Agbaou Gold Mine in Côte d'Ivoire. Construction continues on-plan for\n initial production in Q1 2014, with recent progress in power line\n installation, process plant infrastructure and recruitment.\n\n\nAgbaou Gold Mine Construction Highlights:\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe project is more than 90% physically complete and remains on budget\n\n\n\nPower line tower construction and stringing of the 15 km 91KV line is\n complete. The high voltage transformer has been installed at Agbaou\n substation\n\n\n\nDelivery of mining equipment has been ongoing, including two D9 dozers,\n seven of the 777 haul truck fleet, and both Liebherr 9350 excavators.\n Mining of the South Pit began earlier this week\n\n\n\nROM starter pad and Mine Services Area construction is complete\n\n\n\nProcess plant construction is 94% complete\n\n\n\nMajor reagents have arrived on-site. In addition, commissioning,\n operational and insurance spares are on-site.\n\n\n\nRecruitment of staff and contract workers is progressing well and\n includes a focused effort towards hiring from local communities.
