(\"Encanto\" or the\n \"Company\") (TSXV: EPO and OTCQX: ENCTF) is pleased to announce that Dr.\n Simon Desjardins has been appointed to the role of Vice President of\n Technical Services and Project Management and Darren Svedahl has joined\n the Encanto team as Manager, Lands and Government Relations.\n\n\nDr. Desjardins brings critical experience to his Project Management role\n with Encanto as the Company conducts its Feasibility Study, including\n bridge engineering, and infrastructure planning necessary for\n production. Dr. Desjardins previously worked at Alderon Iron Ore Corp.\n (\"Alderon\") where he was responsible for port terminal management and\n procurement of long lead time production items.\n\n\nPrior to Alderon, Dr. Desjardins was an Area Manager for Rio Tinto Alcan\n with responsibilities including utilities design and transport\n modeling/logistics and with Rio Tinto IOC as Study Manager for both\n rail and port facilities. Dr. Desjardins was also a member of\n MagIndustries Corp's Congo potash project where he regularly liaised\n with potash process designers, civil and mechanical leads and was\n responsible for the procurement of field equipment, transport logistics\n and constructability reviews. In addition, Dr. Desjardins spent 3 years\n as a Project Manager EPCM for SNC-Lavalin, working on feasibility\n studies for Canadian Royalties Nickel as well as construction,\n procurement and permitting for Xstrata Zinc, one of the world's largest\n global diversified mining companies.\n\n\nDr. Desjardins has earned a Bachelor of Engineering, Agriculture and\n Biosystems, a Master of Engineering, and a PhD in Civil Engineering,\n from McGill University.\n\n\nMr. Svedahl joins the project team with 20 years' experience working\n with the Canadian Federal government in the departments of Natural\n Resources Canada (NRCan) and Aboriginal Affairs and Northern\n Development Canada (AANDC) with his most recent position being Manager\n of Lands and Environment for AANDC's Saskatchewan Region.
