[{"type":"text","content":"\n Empyrean Energy PLC\n10 October 2007\n\n\n Empyrean Energy PLC\n ('Empyrean' or the 'Company'; Ticker: (EME))\n\n Sugarloaf Prospect, ('Sugarloaf') Texas USA\n -------------------------------------------\n\nEmpyrean provides the following update on the Sugarloaf Prospect as provided by\nTexas Crude Energy Inc ('TCEI'), the operator.\n\n\nKennedy #1H Well\n-----------------\n\nEmpyrean has been advised that at 6am Texas time on 9 October, 2007 the Kennedy\n#1H exploration well, located in the onshore Gulf Coast Basin in Texas, USA was\ndrilling ahead at a depth of 11,803 feet (3,598 metres) and preparing to kick \noff into the horizontal section. The proposed total depth for this well is \n17,570 feet Measured Depth.\n\n\nSugarloaf-1 Well\n----------------\n\nEmpyrean has been advised that the recently fracture stimulated deepest zone has\nbeen flow tested but failed to flow. This result is not unexpected because the\nfracture stimulation was sub-optimal due to premature screen-out and only 6% of\nthe proppant made it into the rock formation.\n\nThe Opertator has proposed that the zone be re-fracced.
