Existing Non-Executive Director Mr John (Spencer) Laycock has assumed the position of Non-Executive Chairman.\nDr Cross will remain on the Board as a Non-Executive Director.\n \nEmpyrean CEO, Tom Kelly, stated:\n \n\"On behalf of the board of Empyrean, I would like to express our deep gratitude to Dr Patrick Cross for serving as our Chairman over the past 20 years. Dr Cross has been Chairman of Empyrean prior to our inclusion on LSE AIM and has been a dedicated and loyal contributor to the Company and the board of directors. On a personal note, I would like to thank Patrick for all of his invaluable contributions over the time he has assisted Empyrean and especially for his friendship that I cherish and I know the rest of the team at Empyrean are grateful for.
