[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 3374A Empresaria Group PLC 04 August 2008 \n \n \n\n\nPRESS RELEASE - Embargoed until 0700 hours 4 August 2008\n\nEMPRESARIA ENTERS FINNISH AND ESTONIAN MARKETS\n\nCRAWLEY, UK: Empresaria Group plc, the AIM-quoted global staffing specialist, has expanded its international footprint by acquiring a 60% stake in the specialist staffing companies, MediradiX Oy (Finland) and MediradiX Oü (Estonia), which provide doctors, dentists and nurses for hospitals and health centres on a temporary basis.\n\nThis investment signifies Empresaria's entry into both Finland and Estonia for the first time and means the company now operates in 22 countries worldwide.\n\nMediradiX was set up in 2003 and is headed by Managing Director, Ralf Hjorth. It employs both Finnish and Estonian workers.\n\nEmpresaria's Chief Executive Miles Hunt said: 'MediradiX operates in a region with significant growth opportunities. There is an increasing trend of Estonian doctors applying for permission to work abroad, providing MediradiX with a strong pool of candidates in a sector experiencing a skills shortage in Finland. Our investment is in line with a very defined Group policy of focussing on high growth staffing businesses, in different geographic markets and in diverse, specialist sectors.
