[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 7159E Noricum Gold Limited 15 May 2013 \n \n\nClick on, or paste, the following link into your web browser to view the associated PDF document: \nhttp://www.rns-pdf.londonstockexchange.com/rns/7159E_-2013-5-14.pdf \n \nNoricum Gold Limited / EPIC: NMG / Sector: Natural Resources\n15 May 2013\nNoricum Gold Limited ('Noricum Gold' or 'the Company')\nPositive Results from Assaying of Historical Core\n \nNoricum Gold Limited, the Austrian focused gold exploration and development Company, is pleased to announce positive results from the assaying of historical un-sampled core from the previously producing mine at the Rotgulden Gold and Precious Metals Project.\n \nHighlights\n \n· Assaying of historical core underpins prospectivity of Rotgulden project\n· Two historic drilling locations with high grade gold results including:\no Hole 2F: 4.60m @ 14.42 g/t gold ('Au'), 96.04 g/t silver ('Ag'), 0.25% copper ('Cu') from 0m\no Hole 2E: 1.30m @ 30.40 g/t Au, 476 g/t Ag, 0.29% Cu from 0.8m\no Hole 2B: 6.10m @ 5.16 g/t Au, 75.23 g/t Ag, 0.91% Cu from 0m\no Hole 1D: 7.30m @ 2.09 g/t Au, 5.23 g/t Ag, 0.13% Cu from 7.2m\n· Drilling confirmed that the sulphide mineralisation persists for 60m along strike and down dip (the capacity of the rig) and remains open both along strike and down dip\n· Results will assist in targeting resource drilling at Rotgulden which is fully funded \n· Further review of additional historical data underway\n· The previously producing mine is one of multiple targets along 8km of strike being developed by Noricum\n \nNoricum Gold Managing Director Greg Kuenzel said, \"These high grade results highlight the potential of Rotgulden and further confirm the prospectivity of this historic gold mine as we move towards resource drilling. The availability of historic data, such as that provided by these previously un-sampled drill cores, is invaluable as a cost effective exploration tool.
