[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n Noricum Gold Limited / EPIC: NMG / Sector: Natural Resources \n\n27 June 2011\n\n Noricum Gold Limited (`Noricum Gold' or `the Company') \n\n Exploration Update \n\nNoricum Gold Limited, the Austrian focussed gold exploration and development\ncompany, is pleased to announce an update regarding its exploration programme\nat the Company's Rotgülden and Kliening gold projects in south-central Austria.\n\nOverview\n\n * Fieldwork has commenced at both Rotgülden and Kliening - focussed on\n progressing the projects towards defining a maiden JORC Resource\n \n * Regional drill company Voest Alpine appointed to complete an initial 1,800\n metre drill programme at Rotgülden, subject to approval from the Austrian\n Ministry of Mines, commencing in August and an initial 2,000 metre drilling\n programme at Kliening commencing today\n \n * Multiple targets for further exploratory work defined at Rotgülden through\n geophysical and mapping work conducted to date\n \n * Terratec Geoservices has commenced a significant electromagnetic (`EM')\n programme at Rotgülden to identify massive sulphide drill targets which\n consist of high grade gold, silver and copper\n \nNoricum Gold Managing Director Greg Kuenzel said, \"We have made encouraging\nprogress at both Rotgülden and Kliening since commencing our exploration\nprogramme in March 2011, and have identified multiple highly prospective\ntargets for further exploration.\n\n\"We are committed to building upon our already solid understanding of the\nmineralisation at the sites, which are located in a historically high grade\ngold production region, and we are confident that the commencement of drilling\nwill take us one step closer to defining a maiden JORC Resource. Additionally,\nthe EM work at Rotgulden will enable us to pinpoint the location of further\nhigh grade gold, silver and copper targets which are typical of the region and\nwhich will be a high priority for work in the future.\"\n\nFurther information\n\nFieldwork has commenced at both Rotgülden and Kliening. The Company has awarded\ndrilling contracts to Voest Alpine to complete an initial 1,800 metres of\nsurface drilling at Rotgülden and an initial 2,000 metre drilling programme at\nKliening.
