According to Brian Belton, Director of Research and Development at the EMOT California location, \"This vessel has solid wing construction, that is, it does not use a trampoline. The application of a developing battery technology will move 2,4, or 6 people with less drag than a jetski. It is a stable platform, and does not capsize--- it is fast, silent, and inexpensive. In addition, it has considerable storage, and is additionally comfortable, with hull locations that enable passengers to sit normally, instead of cross-legged.\"Mr. Belton went on to describe potential uses for the watercraft: \"This will be ideal for harbor patrol, for use in areas of noise abatement, for tours of ecologically-sensitive areas...it is also fun for 6 people instead of 1. It will be trailerable at less than 8 feet wide, and worst case, it will weigh approximately what a jetski weighs.\"\"The key to efficient production is in the company's ability to produce the molds, which are very expensive and time-consuming to build. We already have access to the necessary molds, and can spend our time in efficiently introducing the power and energy systems.
