The four-day event brings together\njunior and senior mining executives, fund managers, financiers and regulators\nfrom around the world to network and conduct business.\nEmgold is currently focusing on the permitting, geology and mine planning\nfor the Idaho-Maryland Mine and the commercialization of its proprietary\nCeramext(TM) technology to convert mine tailings and other siliceous waste\nmaterials into premium ceramic products. A key milestone for Emgold is receipt\nof the Conditional Mine Use Permit from the City of Grass Valley, California\non or before the third quarter of 2007. Should Emgold be successful in\nobtaining the permit, it will raise the necessary capital to dewater the\nexisting mine, construct a decline and initiate an extensive underground\ndiamond drilling exploration/delineation program keying off the historic\nintercepts and workings documented in 11 tons of paper records that Emgold has\ncarefully reviewed and archived from the previous operations at the mine.\nMr. Witte also announced that Emgold, through its wholly owned subsidiary\nGolden Bear Ceramics Company (\"Golden Bear\"), is now producing quantities of\nhigh-quality ceramic tile in its 45,000 sq. ft.
