[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nTSX Venture Exchange: EMR\nOTC Bulletin Board: EGMCF\nU.S. 20-F Registration: 000-51411\nFrankfurt Stock Exchange: EML\n\n\nVANCOUVER, June 11 /CNW/ - Emgold Mining Corporation (EMR-TSX Venture)\n(the "Company" or "Emgold") is pleased to announce results from its 2007\ndiamond drilling program on the Stewart property, located near Salmo, B.C.\nEmgold completed 3,338 metres of diamond drilling in 30 drill holes on the\nproperty. A total of 1,285 core samples were obtained and shipped to a\nlaboratory for analysis. Emgold is very encouraged by the results of this\ndrilling program. Drill hole STW07-03 gave an impressive molybdenum\nintersection of 0.308% Mo over 24.39 meters. This included 0.721% Mo over 3.05\nmeters. Drill hole STW07-16 gave a tungsten intersection of 0.274% W over 9.16\nmeters, including 0.759% W over 1.58 meters.\n\n\nOne objective of the fall 2007 drill program was to further test and\nverify the strong molybdenum breccia mineralization outlined by drilling in\n1980 and 1981 by Shell Canada, and further drilled by Emgold in 2005 (see\nEmgold news release dated November 28, 2005). A second objective, and one\ndesigned to utilize the majority of the drill metreage, was to test the strong\ntungsten mineralization encountered in trenching of the Arrow Tungsten zone.\n(see Emgold's November 12, 2007 press release). The molybdenum and tungsten\nzones are located in close proximity to one another.\n\n\nPrior to drilling, Emgold completed a total of 20 trenches on the Stewart\nMoly and Arrow Tungsten Zones. The trenching program successfully discovered\ntungsten mineralization along the Arrow Tungsten Zone. Values of 1.171%\ntungsten over 2 metres (07ST-18) and 0.594% over 5 metres (07ST-16) were\nencountered.
