In addition, she played a significant\nrole in corporate strategy and has extensive experience in business\ntransactions and risk assessment having completed numerous international and\ndomestic business transactions to establish Talisman's global business\nactivities. Ms. Sheppard also served as secretary to the board and has been\nrecognized nationally in numerous rankings as one of Canada's leading business\nwomen and business lawyers. She is also a Director on the Board of Directors\nof NWest Energy Inc.\n\n\n"Jackie Sheppard brings extensive knowledge of the energy sector to our\nBoard of Directors," said Derek Oland, Chair of the Emera Inc.
