This year, Emera has partnered with\nCrombie REIT, EastLink, KPMG, RBC Royal Bank, Scotia Investments Group of\nCompanies and Stewart McKelvey to donate $60,000 to Habitat for Humanity.\nRepresentatives from each company, including Chris Huskilson, president and\nCEO, Emera Inc. will be participating in building the home for a family in\nneed. Joining Mr. Huskilson will be Jim Spurr, general counsel and vice\npresident of government relations, Emera Inc.\n\n\n"Emera is committed to the community and helping families, especially\nchildren," says Chris Huskilson, president and CEO of Emera Inc. "We truly\nbelieve in the great work that Habitat for Humanity does I'm looking forward\nto rolling up my sleeves and helping out". The finished house will be home to\na single mom and her two children.\n\n\nEmera's contribution to Habitat for Humanity will continue throughout the\nsummer. Teams of employees, including NSP and Emera Energy Services, will\nparticipate in building the house in Spryfield.\n\n\nHabitat for Humanity HRM is a community-based, non-profit organization\nworking for a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live. Their\nmission is to mobilize volunteers and community partners in building\naffordable housing and promoting homeownership as a means to breaking the\ncycle of poverty.\n\n\nAbout Emera Inc.\n\n\nEmera Inc.
